NATURAL SPACES
Pinar del Rey
338 hectare park. Located in the heart of San Roque, with four marked nature walks: Arroyo de Alhaja (point-to-point walk of 2.5 km, 2 hours), recreation area (circular walk of 1 km, 1 hour), Tajo del Pajarraco (point-to-point walk of 3.6 km, 1.5 hours) and Cerro del Aguila (circular walk of 5 km, 2 hours).

ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITES
Carteia:
City founded by the Phoenicians and the first Roman colony in Hispania with a forum, theatre, baths, city wall and necropolis. Located near the mouth of the Guadarranque river, between San Roque and Algeciras Bay. Guided tours every day except Monday and Tuesday.
Barbésula:
Roman villa on a hill behind Pueblo Nuevo, near the estuary of the Guadiaro river. Not currently open to tourists.
Baelo Claudia:
Located in the bay of Bolonia (Tarifa), it is a good example of the cities of Hispania Baetica, with its forum, theatre, baths and necropolis. Tours are available all year round and are accompanied by a guide.
